Baptist Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves providing high-quality patient care based on Kentucky Nursing Laws, along with implementing the nursing process for patients of all ages.
The RN will work night shifts, applying critical thinking while collaborating with a professional team and promoting positive patient outcomes. Eligible candidates may receive a sign on bonus.
Full Time, 36 weekly hours, night shift – three 12‑hour shifts per week (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) plus every third weekend. Support shifts required.
Registered Nurse on the Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit implements nursing process for each assigned patient, regardless of age, providing high‑quality care in accordance with Kentucky Nursing Laws and institutional policies. The RN promotes positive patient outcomes and actively participates in unit‑based and hospital shared governance, supporting a healthy professional practice environment.
The unit offers both critical care and telemetry training, serving a broad patient population from young adults to geriatrics.
The RN applies critical thinking and clinical reasoning, collaborates with the inter‑professional team, and serves as a role model in continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
