HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a Critical Care role in Florida. You will assess patients pre- and post-operatively, educate families, manage IV therapies and preoperative meds, and participate in surgical site verification and rounds with the care team.

You will work in a fast-paced OR environment, respond to emergencies, and apply evidence-based nursing practices while promoting patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date is required.
• BLS within 30 days of start date is required.
• RN license in good standing (RN)
• No travel required for this role.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about procedures and perioperative care.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist with surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Identify emergencies and respond promptly.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Work with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in the OR.
• Apply nursing process with critical thinking and leadership.
