Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join our patient care team in Florida. The role requires graduation from an approved school of nursing, an active Florida RN license (or valid eNLC), and current BLS certification.

ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas, with NRP specifically required for NICU. The RN will provide high-level nursing care, monitor patients, respond to emergencies, document care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
1 year experience required unless AVP level or above approval.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for NICU.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac/ventilator displays.
Responds to life-saving situations and follows physician-ordered emergency measures when needed.
Develops an individualized plan of care and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards and communicates with the health care team.
