Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care ICU. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to drive optimal outcomes.

In collaboration with physicians and care staff, you will monitor patients, educate families, and implement evidence-based practices while pursuing ongoing professional development and certifications supported by the hospital.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course or Trauma Care After Resuscitation within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
