Sound Physicians in Great Falls, Montana seeks a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver patient‑centered care in a 10‑bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic and observation patients, collaborating with tele‑ICU physicians.

The role features 12‑hour day shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.), about 15 shifts per month, and a commencement bonus with full benefits. Candidates must be board certified acute care, have ICU experience, and hold Montana NP license or be eligible.

Qualificações

• Must be certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Two years ICU independent provider experience with procedure logs.
• Montana requires 6,240 hours supervised practice under a physician with collaborative agreement.

Responsabilidades

• Care for 10-bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic and observation patients.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeon, nurses, respiratory therapists and consultants.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and treatment plans.
• Perform bedside procedures (central/arterial line placement, intubation).
• Manage mechanical ventilation with respiratory therapy.
• Engage in goals-of-care discussions and family communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
