Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Or Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology and Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• ASCP certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automated and manual laboratory procedures and report results.
• Verify test requests and communicate results to appropriate personnel.
• Handle phone inquiries regarding patient results, specimen collection and testing frequency.
• Work under the direction of Lab manager and lead technologist.

Education

Bachelor's or equivalent in clinical/medical laboratory science

Associate degree + Bachelor's in chemical/biological science
