Qualifications

• 1+ years nursing leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing practice and unit operations.
• Ensures adherence to standards of care.
• Manages admissions and discharge processes.
• Fosters interdisciplinary communication across departments.
• Supports efforts to reduce variation in nursing practice and improve efficiency.
• Supports achievement of benchmarks and accreditations.
• Attracts, develops, engages and retains talent in the team.
• Addresses employee grievances per procedures.
• Identifies development opportunities and provides coaching.
• Oversees staff scheduling and staffing levels.
• Represents the organization in community events and in-services.
• Manages operating expenses and identifies cost-reduction opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
