Job summary

ICC Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Overland Park Regional Medical Center ICU team in Overland Park, Kansas. The role involves 12-hour shifts, covering 35 ICU beds (MSICU and CVICU), with a mix of day and night coverage and active bedside teaching for GME, IM residents, and cardiac fellows.

Board eligibility/certification in critical care is required. Kansas licensure or the ability to obtain it is needed; start ideally in 2026 or early 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be critical care board eligible or board certified (all specialties will be considered).
• Kansas licensure or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work Full Time, 12-15 shifts per month.
• Mix of days and nights.
• 12-hour shifts covering 35 ICU beds (25 MSICU, 10 CVICU).
• 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD at night.
• Clinical bedside teaching to support GME, IM Residents and Cardiac Fellows.
• Ideally available to start in 2026, Early 2027.

Responsibilities

• Cover 12-hour shifts in ICU, overseeing 35 beds (MSICU and CVICU).
• Provide clinical leadership and patient care in the ICU
• Engage in bedside teaching to support GME and residents
• Collaborate with daytime/nighttime MD teams to ensure coverage
