Job summary

ICC Healthcare, in partnership with HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, seeks a Critical Care Intensivist to join our 28-bed Med/Surg ICU in Brandon, Florida.

The role entails 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights, and active involvement in teaching residents and APPs within a busy ICU setting. Board certification or eligibility and Florida licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in 24/7 ICU coverage and teaching residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients with 24/7 coverage.
• Lead rounds, supervise fellows and APPs, and participate in resident teaching.
• Collaborate with surgical, medical and nursing teams to optimize care.

Qualified Candidates/Additional Details

• Must be Board certified or board eligible critical care
• Active Florida License or ability to obtain
• Full Time-15 shifts per month- 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights
• 28-bed Med/Surg ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults
• 2 MDs and 1 APP during the day, 1 MD at night
• Clinical teaching responsibilities with ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and APPs
• Categorical internal medicine and transitional internal medicine residency programs providing 24/7 internal medicine resident coverage
