Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Diploma in Nursing is required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Up to 1 year clinical experience in a nursing unit-specific area is required.
• Registered Nurse (Required)

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family. Documents ongoing assessment per unit/TriHealth guidelines and communicates findings to care team.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment and standards of care; develops goals and discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment, respects patient autonomy and diversity, and follows physician orders and policies.
• Evaluates care plans and documents patient responses; revises plans with input from patient/family and team.
• Administers medications/treatments safely and monitors effects; uses equipment per policy.
• Trains and educates staff and serves as a resource in the specialty area.
