RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Float Pool at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. With over 700 physicians and 2,100 employees, we offer advanced treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions.

In 2017, the Medical Center completed a state-of-the-art campus expansion featuring a new four-story 87,000 square foot building with a private, 32 bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby, Retail Pharmacy, Patient

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2 years of ED and/or ICU nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as CEN and CCRN preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely care decisions.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and career development.
