Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative care team.

You will coordinate and provide care per department standards, educate patients and families, and participate in evidence-based practice to improve outcomes. ACLS/BLS/NCI certifications are required within specified timelines, and an Associate Degree with RN licensure is essential.

Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date; BCLS within 30 days; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days.
• Associate Degree and RN licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and documents care in the patient record.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educates patients on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet and exercise and promotes self-management.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic treatment plan.
