Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and the care team to support recovery using established nursing models.

Responsibilities include performing procedures, documenting care, educating patients and families, and leading continuous improvement to meet quality measures while supporting an exceptional patient

Qualifications

• RN license and state requirements.
• ACLS and BLS within 30 days of start.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Manages evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan.
