Qualifications

• Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse License is required.
• BLS or BCLS certification and AED course is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
• Chemo certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Unit.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition and test results.
• Perform nursing duties across the continuum of care.
• Participate in department process improvement efforts.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
