Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year ICU or ED experience, a BSN, and current NJ RN license with BLS/ACLS. PALS can be provided during orientation. The department is Critical Care Float Team with day shifts, 6:45am-7:15pm. Minimum rate: $49.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU/ED experience.
• BSN required.
• NJ RN license, BLS & ACLS required; PALS optional during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive patient care environment by evaluating, planning and implementing effective care plans and communicating with patients and families.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in acute or clinic settings.
• Make sound decisions in response to changes in condition or treatment; maintain calm demeanor.
• Utilize the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members regarding status, symptoms, test results and critical values.
