Job summary

Trusted is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a night shift assignment in New York with 12 months of ICU/critical care experience and recent telemetry proficiency. Epic knowledge is required and Ohio or compact licensure must be obtained after submission.

Local and travel options available for a 15-week assignment with 12-hour shifts. Floating to Neuro ICU/NCCU, SICU, MICU and CVICU is part of the schedule, with a 7 days to start and labs within 48 hours of signing.

Qualifications

• Epic experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
• Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Details

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• Required Skills/Experience:- IV start- Telemetry- Ventilator management experience- Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Required Credentials:- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Unit Details:- Adult patient population.- Transplant population includes kidney, liver, lung, and heart patients.
• Shift & Scheduling:- Every other weekend.
• Floating Requirements:- Float to Neuro ICU/NCCU, surgical ICUs/SICU, MICUs x2, cardiology/diagnostics, and CVICU based on staffing and patient acuity.- May float throughout the OSU organization if there is no need in Critical Care.- Floating is within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
• 14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
• 1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
• 1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
• Proof of identification required
