Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1–3 years of RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs and document care per policy
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational/non-occupational injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards
