Life Flight Network in Aurora, OR seeks a Float Flight Nurse to deliver advanced critical care with a Flight Paramedic. The role requires extensive ICU/ED/Trauma background, active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TPATC with CFRN timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of ICU/ED/Trauma experience within the last ten (10) years.
• RN license appropriate to location.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• TPATC certification; must be completed prior to independent duties.
• CFRN exam within one year of hire; certification within two years of hire.
• CEN or CCRN strongly preferred until CFRN.
• Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• The Flight Nurse works with the Flight Paramedic to deliver age-appropriate (Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric) patient care.
• Maintains accurate patient care documentation per LFN standards.
• Provides written/verbal follow-up to referring hospitals or agencies.
• Assists with equipment retrieval and return to appropriate agencies.
• Ensures aircraft is back in service promptly by cleaning/restocking equipment.
• Performs inventories and monthly checks, orders supplies, and maintains equipment in working order.
• Supports day-to-day operations of LFN and may assist with related projects.
