Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated EEG technologist to perform standard EEG procedures at Memorial Medical Center and shared service sites. The role includes handling electrodes, monitoring electrode impedances, and participating in Neurointensive Video EEG studies under supervision, with on-call duties as needed.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and completed electroneurodiagnostic training, with ABRET Part I eligibility or 1–3 years EEG experience; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent training.
• Eligible for ABRET Part I exam or 1–3 years EEG experience.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and applies electrodes according to the 10-20 system.
• Maintains electrode impedances to laboratory standards.
• Performs high quality electroneurodiagnostic studies according to laboratory standards.
• Learns to perform Neonatal, Ambulatory EEG and Neurointensive Video EEG monitoring.
• Travels to shared service hospitals to perform EEGs.
• Performs duties per MMC Safety and Infection Control Standards.
