CornerStone Medical in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in the ED/ICU. compensation is $95/hr, with Evening (12:30-21:00) or Swing (14:00-00:30) shifts; day shifts possible with rounding experience.

Onsite role staffing 24/7 in the ED/ICU, responsibilities include participating in codes, rapid sequence intubations, stroke and sepsis management, drug utilization reviews, and collaboration with hospital staff to ensure optimal medication therapy.

Qualifications

Active Texas Pharmacist license.
Board certification in Critical Care or Emergency Drug Therapy, or 5 years ICU/ED practice.
BLS and PALS certifications.
ASHP-accredited residency or 4+ years acute hospital patient care experience.
Preceptor with State Board of Pharmacy; pass background check and immunizations.

Responsibilities

Attend Code Blues, administer medications, document participation.
Attend Rapid Sequence Intubations in hospital areas, provide meds.
Attend Code Strokes, review patient profile and assist with fibrinolytics if warranted.
Attend Code Sepsis, review profile, recommend antibiotics and mix meds.
Provide comprehensive pharmacy services for STAT orders in ED/ICU.
Monitor EPIC STAT queues; intervene clinically as needed.
Perform drug utilization reviews and monitor interactions; support formulary integrity.
