Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1 year ASHP accredited residency or 4+ years acute hospital experience.
• Pharmacy license from Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Preceptor with State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Attend hospital codes and provide emergency medications.
• Review patient profiles and make treatment recommendations.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of medication orders.
• Participate in antibiotic stewardship program.
• Serve as a clinical resource for hospital staff.
