St. Luke’s is seeking a Crisis RN to respond to and lead interventions for inpatient emergencies, including Code Blue, Code Stroke, STEMI, and Sepsis, while mentoring staff to develop critical thinking.
This role also involves rounding on units for closer monitoring, cross-team collaboration, and ongoing teaching to prevent emergencies. Night-shift, full-time with float to Boise/Meridian/Nampa.

The Crisis Nurse works under our Clinical Support Unit and responds to and leads interventions on the following inpatient calls; Adult Rapid Response Team, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code STEMI, and Code Sepsis as requested. They collaborate with other specialty areas such as OB and Pediatrics when those patients have critical needs.
When skills are not needed for crisis situations, the Crisis RN will round in all units on patients requiring closer monitoring, or those recently transferred out of Critical Care. They will also provide in-time teaching and build relationships throughout the hospital as they make their rounds. They work closely with multiple teams with the goal of providing early intervention to avoid emergency situations.
