Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; NH RN license active.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRН, TNCC, PALS, CSU-ALS, ultrasound vascular access BD Fundamentals of Ultrasound preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department RN experience.
• Demonstrated leadership progression and staff education knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients at risk for deterioration through assessment of vitals, labs, medications, history, and status.
• Leads Rapid Response Teams, stroke activations, and Code Blue events.
• Provides expert bedside clinical support during emergencies.
• Serves as a hospital-wide mentor and real-time educator for bedside nurses.
• Coordinates communication among physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Delegates and supervises nursing care during emergencies.
• Supports patients and families during critical events.
• Ensures complete and accurate documentation.
• Conducts post-event debriefings to improve team performance.
• Participates in regulatory readiness, quality improvement, education, and organizational initiatives.
