Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia invites qualified Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join a growing critical care team in inpatient settings across Southeast Virginia, including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk.

The role offers a competitive salary range ($115,000–$145,000), performance incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, signing bonus and tail coverage, with EPIC EMR and a strong emphasis on patient-centered, value-based care.

Qualifications

• Qualifed Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Virginia with critical care experience.
• Ability to perform comprehensive histories, exams, and assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with respiratory illness, sepsis, shock, multisystem organ failure, trauma, and other life‑threatening conditions
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medications management and hemodynamic support
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic evaluations

In this Role:

As a Critical Care Advance Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team

• Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments

• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with respiratory illness, sepsis, shock, multisystem organ failure, trauma, and other life‑threatening conditions

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medications management and hemodynamic support

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imagine studies, and diagnostic evaluations
