Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia is seeking a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a large, multidisciplinary critical care team. In this inpatient role, you will provide longitudinal, patient-centered care across Southeast Virginia, including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive histories, physicals, and clinical assessments in inpatient settings.
• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients including sepsis, shock, multisystem issues.

In this Role:

As a Critical Care Advance Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team

• Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with respiratory illness, sepsis, shock, multisystem organ failure, trauma, and other life-threatening conditions
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medications management and hemodynamic support
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imagine studies, and diagnostic evaluations
• Day and night rotations
