Bayview Physicians Group in Coastal Virginia seeks a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join a multidisciplinary team. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, with opportunities for bronchoscopy and advanced pulmonary procedures, and collaboration with APPs.

You will provide longitudinal, patient-centered care across markets such as Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk, with a flexible practice setting aligning with lifestyle and career goals.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for complex pulmonary and critical care conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform detailed histories, exams, and assessments to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage a broad range of pulmonary disorders including obstructive airway disease and interstitial lung disease.
• Provide critical care management for ICU patients, including stabilization and ongoing care.
• Perform advanced pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy as appropriate.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technologies for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
• Maintain timely medical documentation per organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide supervision and mentorship for APPs.

In this Role:

As a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an inpatient and outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Provide comprehensive evaluation,diagnosis, and treatmentof patients withcomplex pulmonary andcritical care conditionsin both inpatientand outpatient settings.
• Perform detailed patienthistories, physical examinations, and assessments todevelop evidence-basedtreatment plans.
• Managea broad rangeof pulmonary disorders, including obstructiveairway disease, interstitiallung disease, pulmonaryhypertension, infectiouslung disease, andother complex respiratoryconditions.
• Provide critical caremanagement for criticallyill patients inthe intensive careunit (ICU), including evaluation, stabilization, and ongoingmanagement.
• Perform advanced pulmonaryprocedures, including bronchoscopyand other ICU-based procedures asappropriate.
• Utilize advanced diagnostictools and medicaltechnologies to supportaccurate diagnosis andeffectivetreatment.
• Maintain accurate andtimely medical documentationin accordance withorganizational standardsand regulatory requirements.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and collaborative support for APPs
