Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician to join the Crisis and Triage Advice Line, delivering telephonic triage, crisis intervention, and ambulatory behavioral health services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.
• Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, clinical counseling, or allied field.
• Hawaii license: LMFT or LMHC; NPI required at hire; BLS required.
• Credentialing process to be completed upon hire.
• Experience in brief triage, individual and group therapy, and various levels of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic triage and crisis intervention for Behavioral Health members.
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, groups, and IPC programs.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges with psychiatry and emergency services as needed.
• Estimate level of care and refer to external providers when appropriate.
• Maintain clinical documentation and participate in team quality management.
