The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist utilizes clinical skills to assess individuals in crisis, de-escalate situations, and develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or health-related field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.).
• Must possess one of NM licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPC, LMHC, LPAT, or LMFT; independent licensure preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a private vehicle.
• Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis services and de-escalation with crisis clients.
• Develop safety and aftercare plans to reduce future crises.
• Coordinate with community providers for client care.
• Deliver psychotherapy services (individual, group, family) as appropriate.
• Participate in on-call coverage on nights and weekends.
• Complete timely documentation and reporting.
