Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Crisis Team in Des Moines, IA. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive nursing care to a patient group, supervising support staff, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation.

Shift is 7p-7a with a full-time schedule. Required qualifications include an active RN license in Iowa, BLS/CPR certification, and competency with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Current RN license recognized by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• BLS/CPR certification required for independent patient care.
• Experience with EMR documentation and computer navigation.
• Ability to physically manage aggressive patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides, delegates, and coordinates comprehensive professional nursing care to a designated group of patients under supervision.
• Oversees non-professional nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care.
• Completes and maintains unit-specific training and competency monitors.
• Documents in EMR and maintains accurate and concise records.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork; adheres to policies and procedures.
