Job summary

Zepf Center in Toledo, Ohio, seeks a Full-time Mental Health Professional to stabilize individuals in crisis and help them return to the community promptly. The CSU offers crisis stabilization for youth and families, with triage, counseling, and community resource referrals.

Licensure in LSW/LPC or LISW/LPCC, a Bachelor's degree, and crisis intervention experience are required; a 12-hour shift with weekends/holidays is common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Licensure: LSW/LPC; LISW/LPCC.
• 2 years crisis intervention experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct triage and intake interviews in person with clients and referrals.
• Provide crisis stabilization services, counseling, and community resource referrals.
• Complete assessments, mental status exams, and social histories.
• Coordinate services across medical, educational, psychological, vocational and social supports.
• Facilitate group therapy modules and schedule modalities with CSU team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation for billing and CMS standards.
• Work with hospital staff to assist in step-down from hospital to CSU.
• Perform short-term, solution-focused counseling and follow-up as needed.
