Job summary

Zepf Center is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to support individuals in crisis and assist in 24/7 behavioral health services in Northwest Ohio. The role involves direct client interaction, crisis intervention, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities include crisis response, assessments, documentation, and facilitating care across residential, emergency, and community settings, with on-call shifts and variable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or 3 years in mental health/social services preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, CPI certifications required.
• Must be eligible to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crises in field or facility.
• Conduct assessments and coordinate services with health professionals.
• Observe, monitor, and engage with clients to ensure safety and well-being.
• Provide structured support in residential units, emergency rooms, or community locations.
• Document interactions and services per agency policies; complete reports and logs.
• Assist with intake and discharge processes; support case management tasks.
• Provide outreach and transportation to appointments as needed.
• Participate in regular trainings (CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention).
