Job summary

BOS Medical Staffing in Newnan, GA is seeking registered nurses to work in a CSU facility. Shifts are available immediately: full-time nights 7 PM to 7 AM on a 36/48 rotation, including every other weekend.

You will implement care plans, document in charting systems, and collaborate with physicians and staff while maintaining patient dignity and safety. A current RN license and at least one year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current, unencumbered license.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
• Basic computer skills for charting.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment programs as directed.
• Count controlled substances and supplies at shift start; sign logs.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians and supervisors.
• Respect patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Apply critical thinking and follow procedures, with judgment where needed.
• Maintain alertness and attention to details.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Available Hours: Full-Time hours available! 7P-7A (36/48 rotation, includes every other weekend)

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment programs as directed by the Health Care Practitioner.
• Count controlled substances, syringes, needles, and sharps at the beginning of each shift with another staff member and sign count logs.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
• Respect the dignity and confidentiality of patients.
• Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
• Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
• Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
