Job summary

The Guidance Center - Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Crisis Stabilization Mental Health Tech to work with a team providing care to clients on outpatient and inpatient bases. They will assist in monitoring, care, daily operations and housekeeping, and will liaise with internal and external parties to share information for client support.

This is a 24/7 operation and all shifts are available for PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess an Associate of Arts/Science degree or two years of equivalent education/experience.
• Relevant experience in human services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 supportive care including hygiene, nutrition, and medication with proper documentation.
• Serve as a client resource for activities to promote stability in functioning.
• Initiate de-escalation procedures when appropriate per MANDT and MHFA.
• Provide accurate feedback to providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Maintain unit through regular housekeeping duties.
