The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a Crisis Clinician - Evening to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. The Crisis Stabilization Therapist provides clinical services to individuals in crisis, completingscreens /intakesandappropriate assessments,conducting therapy sessions, and providing support necessary for stabilization and release.The therapistaids in access to recommended services, such as inpatient hospitalization, substance abuse services, Child/Adult rehabilitation services, and Psychiatric services.The therapist will function collaborativelywith other professionals on behalf of their clients. Minimum 40 hours/week, Sunday to Thursday (evenings 1 PM to 9 PM).
Pay and Benefits:
Primary Duties:
Master's degree in social work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment.
Required: One year of experience working in a residential or crisis stabilization unit providing services to clients in acute and crisis situations and supervising clinical staff.
Preferred: One year experience with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
