Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, IL, is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to join its Crisis Stabilization Unit. This full-time role includes shift work across 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM windows with differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

The position emphasizes compassionate, recovery-oriented care, daily living support, skills coaching, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to help residents stabilize and regain independence in a challenging 24/7 setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Experience in behavioral health or caregiving preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily living support and recovery coaching to residents.
• Engage residents using motivational approaches and group activities.
• Maintain therapeutic milieu and conduct safety checks.
• Support adherence to medication routines and health appointments.
• Document progress notes and communicate with clinical team.
