Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical and mental health assessments and document health history.
• Identify factors affecting mental health and relate physiology to psychiatric conditions.
• Involve individuals in data collection using appropriate assessment techniques.
• Demonstrate effective clinical interview skills to build therapeutic relationships.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
• Develop biopsychosocial treatment plans for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Prescribe medications based on clinical indicators and educate patients on use and effects.
• Manage psychiatric emergencies by assessing risk and coordinating care.
