Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Crisis Stabilization Unit to deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process. This 24/7 unit provides psychiatric stabilization and detoxification, serving as an alternative to hospitalization.

The role requires an active GA RN license, an associate degree, and experience in crisis or behavioral health care. The schedule includes evening and night shifts with weekend coverage, and a full benefits package is

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia.
• Proficient in clinical assessment, care planning, and basic nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission and discharge nursing assessments with care plans.
• Monitor care, diet, activity; report concerns to APRN and CSU Nurse Manager.
• Maintain charting, logs, and required documentation; transcribe orders as needed.
• Provide education to individuals and families about treatment and release of information.
• Facilitate groups and activities; participate in case staffing and team meetings.
