Job summary

DuPage County Health Department is seeking a Crisis Services Technician for the new Crisis Recovery Center on the DuPage County Campus in Wheaton. The role supports crisis services with 24/7 coverage and focuses on safety, therapeutic care, and rapid response in a county setting.

The position offers a 4-day shift (Wed–Sat 2:00 pm–12:00 am) with a $2/hr differential on the second shift; salary may increase with experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age. Experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supports safe, therapeutic environment in Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center programs.
• Facilitates client safety and quality care through client rounding and belongings checks.
• Assists with client medication observation in crisis programming.
• Maintains environmental standards in crisis programming.
• Completes grocery shopping and supply inventories
• May transport clients in a county vehicle.
