Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on-call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies. Responsibilities include meeting clients in diverse settings, responding to emergency situations, documenting interactions, and coordinating with law enforcement, courts, and community partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Minimum one year experience working with mental health clients.
  • Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws.
  • Strong crisis assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and build relationships with diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour in the service area.
