DuPage County Health Department's Crisis Recovery Center is seeking a Crisis Services Technician to join our team. You will provide emergency and crisis intervention in-person, over the phone, or via video, conduct on-site crisis evaluations, and support the 12-bed Crisis Residential unit.

This 24-hour-per-week role runs Friday through Sunday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with a $2 per hour shift differential on the second shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with chronically mentally ill populations.
• Attendance at paid orientation Mon-Fri 8:00–4:30.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency and crisis intervention in-person, by phone, or via video.
• Conduct on-site crisis evaluations.
• Support the 12-bed Crisis Residential unit with client care tasks.
• Perform community-based crisis evaluations for diverse age groups.
• Provide referrals and link clients to community resources.
• Maintain required training, licensure, and certification; collaborate with staff.
