Job summary

Macomb County is seeking a Therapist - Co Responder to join the Community Mental Health team. The role conducts screenings, intakes, and case management for adults and youth in collaboration with local law enforcement.

The position requires a master’s degree in a mental health field, licensure as LMSW/LPC (or equivalent), and several years of clinical crisis experience. Full-time hours with varied shifts; no weekends or holidays, and an emphasis on community-based crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• Two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• One year of experience with justice-involved or crisis services.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis services and referrals.
• Coordinate with law enforcement partners for behavioral health support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data.
• Supervise department interns as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights/weekends/holidays.
