The role supports triage, care coordination, and warm handoffs within the crisis continuum, with supervision for high-risk situations and a training plan that may include remote or hybrid work after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work or related field.
• Experience in crisis services or call centers preferred.
• Ability to learn standardized screening tools and escalation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an access point for individuals seeking services, routing within the service continuum per protocols.
• Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chats with empathy, professionalism, and cultural humility.
• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and de-escalation to individuals in distress.
• Conduct standardized safety and risk screenings per established protocols.
• Coordinate seamless referrals and warm handoffs to internal and external resources.
