Job summary

Resources for Human Development’s New Perspectives Crisis Services seeks Crisis Workers to provide immediate support during mental health crises. This role includes residential crisis services, telephone support, and mobile crisis response to help stabilize individuals and connect them to ongoing care.

The position requires a relevant degree or RN/licensed credential, plus 2 years of behavioral health experience for some pathways. Comprehensive benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as listed in qualifications section.
• Candidates may include licensed RN or related social services experience.
• Ability to meet employment screening and clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, compassionate support to individuals in mental/behavioral health crises.
• Deliver direct client care in short-term crisis stabilization and residential settings.
• Conduct intake assessments, safety evaluations, and crisis stabilization planning.
• Monitor well-being and maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
• Respond to crisis calls with emotional support, assessment, and intervention.
• Develop safety plans and connect clients with ongoing mental health, medical, and community resources.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, EMS, hospitals, and social service agencies as needed.
• Complete timely documentation per program and regulatory requirements.
