Job summary

Elevate Housing Foundation seeks a Law Enforcement Liaison to work with local law enforcement as a crisis responder, employed by Elevate Housing Foundation. The role involves assisting with mental health crisis calls alongside police and coordinating with community resources.

Responsibilities include accessing supports for behavioral health recovery, documentation, care coordination, and safety planning, with duties performed in community settings and during patrols as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and human services or psychology from an accredited college preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge and EHR management experience are required.
• Certification in Mental Health First Aid or CPI is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in accessing supports, services, and resources for behavioral health recovery.
• Respond to 911 calls for assistance with support of Law Enforcement.
• Provide crisis services, de-escalation, and follow-up per timelines.
• Develop and implement crisis plans and safety plans.
• Coordinate care and address psycho/social, financial, and medical obstacles.
