Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma required.
• Peer certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Lucas County area.
• CPR, first aid and CPI required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work variable hours including on call, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with MRSS team, clients, families and referral sources.
• Assist with behavior management, crisis support and emergencies as needed.
• Provide individualized guidance, coaching and support to clients.
• Assist in developing community supports and training in personal resources use.
• Help clients increase social support networks of relatives, friends and significant others.
• Work with other providers/family members in care plans.
• Advocate for clients to protect rights and reduce stigma.
• Maintain confidentiality of clinical information and treatment.
• Provide documentation and meet productivity standards.
• Deliver services at agency and in the field; assist with transportation when necessary.
• MRSS may require regional calls; team may cover in the region.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
