Zepf Center is seeking a Per Diem Peer Support Specialist to assist individuals in recovery from mental illness and substance use disorders. This role focuses on providing recovery education, modeling recovery possibilities, and linking individuals to community resources.
The candidate must have a relevant lived experience and a high school diploma or GED, along with certification as an Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter. This position is essential in promoting long-term recovery efforts within the community.
Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to contribute to a continuum of care. The agency is trauma‑informed for both patients and staff.
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Peer Support Specialist to support others in recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders. The role includes serving as a model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to help prevent relapse and promote long‑term recovery.
