Job summary

The Link & Option Center, Inc. is seeking an Intake Specialist/Case Manager in Illinois to provide crisis stabilization and client intake services.

You will conduct interviews, gather required information, and connect clients to appropriate services with warm hand-offs. Responsibilities include completing registrations and brief assessments, maintaining accurate records for billing, and coordinating referrals with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health field or related area.
• 1–3 years of experience in behavioral health field.
• CPI Training preferred.
• Knowledge of IL Administrative Rules 132, 140, 2060.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis and intake interviews with new or re-admitted clients.
• Assist clients with completing registration paperwork.
• Enter admin, assessment, and billing data into the system.
• Provide DSM-5 diagnoses and generate recommendations.
• Maintain client records and ensure billing support.
