The Link & Option Center, Inc. is a Joint Commission–accredited outpatient State Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving the far Southside community and designated to serve the Southland region with locations in South Holland and Hazel Crest, Illinois. POSITION SUMMARY

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and oversight of The Link & Option Center, Inc.,'s (TLOC) Intake Department. This role ensures that intake and initial assessment processes are completed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and applicable Illinois Administrative Rules. The Intake Coordinator provides clinical and administrative supervision to intake staff, monitors departmental productivity and quality metrics, and supports continuous improvement through training and process development.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Intake Department Oversight

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Intake Department.
• Ensure compliance with TLOC policies, procedures, and intake workflows.
• Monitor departmental productivity to ensure established performance standards are consistently met.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Conduct weekly reviews of new admissions to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure intake documentation is completed and submitted within required timeframes.
• Monitor intake staff documentation for clinical appropriateness and adherence to TLOC standards.
• Maintain compliance with intake protocols and continuously evaluate intake flow for efficiency and effectiveness.

Staff Supervision & Training

• Provide supervision to intake staff, including performance feedback, performance evaluations and ongoing guidance.
• Identify documentation or process trends and provide targeted training as indicated by data.
• Support staff development to promote high-quality, compliant intake services.

Policy Development & Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations to develop, review, and update intake policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support coordinated care and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must meet criteria for qualification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) under Illinois Administrative Code Rule 132.
• Demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission (JACHO) accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Illinois Administrative Rules 132, 140, and 2060.
• Strong professional judgment and ability to make informed, appropriate decisions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
