Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a licensed social worker or counselor to treat adults in crisis at our Towson location. You will join an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized care plans, and deliver both individual and group therapy as part of a comprehensive crisis stabilization program.

You will assess patients, coordinate with families, ensure discharge planning, and support aftercare services. A licensed professional is required with relevant Maryland credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess Maryland social work or counseling license(s).
• 2 years of mental health experience preferred.
• Strong ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and provide therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work/counseling services to an assigned caseload.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments at admission.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions; coordinate with families as needed.
• Coordinate aftercare planning and case management within an interdisciplinary team.
