Job summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking a Crisis Intervention Supervisor to hire, develop, train, and manage Crisis Intervention Specialists and Family Specialists to ensure quality crisis services. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate with community partners, and maintain program quality and compliance.

You will lead risk management during incidents, ensure culturally responsive care, and collaborate with clinical leadership to implement agency service philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or related field.
  • One or more years of experience in social or mental health services delivery, crisis management, or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certification, CPR, and TCI Training required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate services for individuals and families, building constructive relationships and solving barriers.
  • Respond to community-based mental health crises, including dangerous situations.
  • Provide field-based supervision, oversight, and risk management during incidents.
  • Hire, coach, train, discipline, and terminate staff.
  • Ensure culturally responsive care and investigators.
  • Coach staff in values-based care and Evidence-Based Practices.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $79,295 - $97,523 per year.
  • 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select Peer Certifications.
  • 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions.
  • Benefits eligibility starts on day one.

Schedule & Location

Tuesday - Friday, 8 pm – 6 am (Mobile Crisis Unit in Solano County).

Job Summary

Hire, develop, train, and manage Crisis Intervention Specialists and/or Family Specialists to ensure quality crisis services. Supervise daily operations, coordinate with community partners, and maintain program quality and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services for individuals and families, building constructive relationships and solving barriers.
  • Respond to community‑based mental health crises, including dangerous situations.
  • Participate in joint responses with law enforcement.
  • Provide field‑based supervision, oversight, and risk management during incidents.
  • Hire, coach, train, discipline, and terminate staff.
  • Ensure culturally responsive care and investigators.
  • Coach staff in values‑based care and Evidence‑Based Practices.
  • Model effective strength‑based relationships and train staff accordingly.
  • Manage 24‑hour scheduling, including call‑outs, vacations, and training.
  • Implement safety planning and resource management for clients.
  • Support the call schedule when staff are out and step in to provide direct service.
  • Complete and verify documentation with direct reports.
  • Participate in after‑hours and weekend on‑call rotation as required.
  • Follow risk management and incident reporting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, quality, IT, HR, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and quality assurance to meet agency and payer standards.
  • Monitor outcome achievement and satisfaction for youth, families, and agencies.
  • Provide crisis and risk prevention and management.
  • Manage operations, including utilization of administrative electronic systems.
  • Lead the development of the Crisis team.
  • Offer learning opportunities through classroom courses and field supervision.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement the agency service philosophy.
  • Meet productivity and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or related field.
  • One or more years of experience in social or mental health services delivery, crisis management, or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certification, CPR, and TCI Training required.
  • Initial physical abilities test (PATS) and crisis intervention certification within 30 days and annually, if required.

Physical Requirements
  • Must remain physically fit to keep clients safe.
  • Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling.
  • Ability to move quickly/run.
Additional Requirements
  • Pass initial physical abilities test (PATS) and crisis intervention certification within 30 days and annually, if required.
  • Pass Human Performance Evaluation Test if employed at a Crisis Stabilization Unit.
  • Perform lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, and other required movements, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Detailed vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
  • Full background check and TB exam. May have unsupervised contact with children.
